SAD NEWS: The Philadelphia Eagles’ coach has left due to…

Haason Reddick, a Pro Bowl edge rusher, has been traded to the New York Jets for a 2026 conditional third-round pick. Reddick must play 67.5% of the snaps and have 10 or more sacks. If these criteria are not met, the pick will remain in the third round.

Over the last five seasons Reddick has 52 sacks ranking seventh in the NFL for players at his position. At 29, the Temple and Camden, New Jersey native was in the penultimate year of his contract with Philadelphia. Now, the Jets are anticipated to grant Reddick the long-term extension he has been seeking in the near future.

Reddick joins a young pass rush that includes previous first-round picks Jermaine Johnson and Will McDonald, as well as All-Pro defensive lineman Quinnen Williams. As the Jets want to improve on their 7-10 record from last season, they’ve added another Pro Bowl member to their already great defense.
