Julius and Kendra Randle have been married since 2017.
Julius Randle, an NBA player, has had his wife Kendra Randle’s support since day one.
They met at the University of Kentucky, where Julius played men’s basketball and Kendra studied fashion design and merchandising.
While the college sweethearts were young when they began dating, they knew they had something special. After dating for a few years, they decided to establish a family and married in 2017.
“You never really plan when you’re going to be married,” Julius told the New York Post in 2019.
“My wife was the right person for me. I saw no use in waiting. She was the one I knew I wanted to be with, regardless of how young she was. It didn’t matter where in my life I met her; I knew I wanted to marry her,” he said.
Their love for each other has remained strong despite Julius’ job transfers throughout the country, from Los Angeles to New Orleans to New York City. They haven’t forgotten their roots.
Kendra debuted her own fashion line, KALORE, in October 2020. She is the brand’s founder, CEO, and face, modeling many of its goods on the website.
After studying fashion design and merchandising at the University of Kentucky, her background and business attitude, which she credits to her grandparents, helped her realize her dream of owning a fashion brand.
Kendra spoke to Natfluence about her idea for KALORE.
“I’ve intricately crafted each piece with a passion and intention to inspire each and every woman who wears it to embrace feeling sexy and strong,” she said of the pieces she created. “My mission is to empower women and have an all-female staff and team working along-side me to deliver quality and trendy fashion wear for everyone.”
Kendra also told Page Six that she likes her husband’s influence on designs and frequently seeks his feedback.
“I will absolutely show him everything. If I’m deciding between this fabric and this color, I’ll show him and get his opinion. “He also enjoys fashion,” she stated.
