Bills Supporters React to a shocking and ludicrous statement made by general manager Brandon Beane…….

Buffalo Bills Brandon Beane

During the NFL Draft combine on Tuesday, Brandon Beane, general manager of the Buffalo Bills, addressed the media. In an interview with the media, he discussed moving up in the 2018 NFL Draft to select quarterback Josh Allen.

On Tuesday, Beane addressed the media regarding his decision to choose Allen seventh overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by saying:
I’m not coming here anyhow if it doesn’t work out with him. And no one will care if he succeeds in getting fit.

Fortunately for Beane, during the previous six seasons, Allen has performed well for him. Over the previous several seasons, they have been among the best NFL teams. The last three seasons, Buffalo has won the AFC East. Despite having attended at least one AFC title game, they have not yet won a Super Bowl under Josh Allen.

They have been eliminated once by the Cincinnati Bengals and twice by the Kansas City Chiefs in the last three seasons. In the Josh Allen era, they want to make it to the Super Bowl.

Around him, Brandon Beane has done a commendable job assembling this football club. Along with Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, Allen, who is 27 years old, is one of the NFL’s most gifted quarterbacks.

Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane Drafted Another Version of Brett Favre when Taking Josh Allen.

One of the NFL’s most gifted quarterbacks, Allen shares many of the same skills as former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. Where they toss the football doesn’t matter to either of them. They both get picked off frequently and throw a lot of touchdowns.

The NFL Hall of Fame has inducted Favre. He did earn MVP and a Super Bowl championship. Allen hasn’t yet prevailed in either contest. He finished the previous season with 4,306 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions on 66.5% of his passes. Along with rushing for 15 touchdowns and 524 yards on 111 carries, he also averaged 4.7 yards per carry.

Fortunately for Beane, the NFL’s most important position is quarterback. Josh Allen played college football at Wyoming after being a zero-star recruit. He had a lot of untapped potential and was somewhat wild in college.

It’s a credit to the Bills that he was able to grow into one of the NFL’s most divisive quarterbacks. Buffalo had intended for Allen to sit behind Nathan Peterman for the entire 2018 season, but after Peterman threw five interceptions against the Ravens, the Bills were forced to utilize Allen in the second half of their opening game.

From that point on, Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills have made history. A successful trade up for a quarterback is extremely uncommon. Apart from them and the Kansas City Chiefs, which other teams have had success recently when moving up for Patrick Mahomes? Not much, is the response.

It is quite difficult to assess this role. Beane will enjoy this amusing tale for the rest of his life, and fortunately for Buffalo, they hit a slam dunk.
