NEWS FLASH: WR Demarcus Robinson is currently in Los Angeles for a possible return to the Rams, according to an AP source.

Los Angeles (AP) — Demarcus Robinson has agreed to a one-year, $5 million contract to return to the Los Angeles Rams, according to a person familiar with the situation.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity Friday because Robinson has yet to sign the contract.
Robinson, who was signed as veteran depth last June, saw little offensive action for the Rams over the first 11 weeks of the regular season. He finally became a big target for Matthew Stafford down the stretch, helping Los Angeles finish 10-7 and qualify for the playoffs.

Despite not making his first grab of the season until November 5, Robinson finished with 26 receptions and 371 yards. He also had four touchdowns and scored in four straight games in December.

Robinson spent his first six NFL seasons in Kansas City, where he won a Super Bowl ring in 2019. In 2022, he played for Baltimore and caught 48 receptions for 458 yards, a career high.

Robinson will turn 30 soon after the start of the following season. He has never missed the playoffs during his eight-year NFL career.

With Robinson’s return, the Rams’ top six pass catchers from last season are under contract for 2024, led by Super Bowl 56 MVP Cooper Kupp and record-setting rookie Puka Nacua, who made the Pro Bowl.
