NFL fans disputed former San Francisco 49ers legend Patrick Willis’ inflammatory comments about Colin Kaepernick and Brock Purdy. Willis cooked up his former teammate.
According to GH archives, on his “RG3 and The Ones” podcast, Robert Griffin III asked Willis if he would choose Purdy or Kaepernick on his squad. The Hall of Fame linebacker stated that he would take Kaepernick:
“I’m going to have to take Kap,” Willis announced.
“A lot of people can go back and [nitpick] about what it looked like over his last couple of years and so on with the Niners, or his last year with the Niners. He fulfilled his responsibilities. It may not have been in the typical quarterback passing sense, but, man, him and you (Griffin), you were electrifying.”
“I love them 1A and 1B,” Willis added.
