REPORT: Jordan Love is ready to end his contract with the Green Bay Packers due to…

Green Bay Packers: The number of Jordan Love MVP votes was insulting.

It is not surprising that Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love did not win the MVP award. However, it is surprising that he did not garner a single second or third-place vote despite finishing the season as one of the NFL’s top premiere passers.

Jordan Love finished second in the league in passing touchdowns.

Jordan Love concluded the season with 32 passing touchdowns, just four behind passing touchdown leader Dak Prescott. Prescott, however, received MVP votes. This season, the Dallas Cowboys offense had two pro bowl pass catchers: Ceedee Lamb and Jake Ferguson. Jordan Love led the league’s youngest attack, with no clear number one receiving target. Love helped the Packers accomplish an unexpected record this season. To not obtain a single vote appears to be a tremendous mistake.

Love’s value to the Packers is unmatched in the NFL.

Now, it’s evident that the quarterback is the most crucial position, but this season demonstrated that backup quarterbacks can go in and help their teams. Some NFL star-led offenses are extremely talented. Lamar Jackson benefited with the league’s leading rush attack. Brock Purdy is protected by two elite receivers, a fantastic tight end, the finest running back, and a stellar offensive line. If they are removed from those teams, the backup quarterbacks may be able to assist the squad win more football games.

Green Bay Packers: Number Of Jordan Love Votes For MVP Was Insulting

Obviously not to the same amount as the starters, but they do assist the club win games. One may argue that Patrick Mahomes, Jordan Love, and Josh Allen are the most useful players for their respective NFL teams this season. What would be the Packers’ record if Jordan Love were injured this season? They would have most likely finished with a top-10 NFL draft pick.

Love should have received at least some MVP votes.
When you look at the list of MVP first, second, and third-place votes, it’s difficult to believe that Love didn’t even receive one. When you check at the bottom of the list, you’ll notice that CJ Stroud, Matthew Stafford, and Myles Garrett all received MVP votes.

According to the statistics, Jordan Love outperformed all three of these athletes. Myles Garrett is difficult to compare against, but the other two vote-getters are odd. Stroud and Stafford were excellent this season, but were they better than Jordan Love? It doesn’t seem like it. Because it was voted on by the media, Jordan Loves’ narrative may not have caught the voters’ attention.

Jordan Love can still win MVP the next year. With a potentially redesigned offense and another year of experience under his belt, he might take the next step towards greatness. I hope the rest of the league takes notice.
