Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs makes a strong statement about his plans for the future in Buffalo.

While the offseason has reignited rumors about whether the Buffalo Bills would sign Stefon Diggs, the All-Pro wide receiver has other plans for his future with the franchise.

On February 8, Diggs told reporter Kay Adams on “Up & Adams” that he intends to spend the rest of his career in Buffalo and denied rumors that he is unhappy with the organization.

“Yeah, I mean I told (the media) interview after interview I wanted to retire a Bill,” Diggs was quoted as saying.
While Diggs has stated unequivocally that he wants to stay with the Bills, several sources have theorized that the Bills may decide to move on this offseason due to a drop in productivity from the All-Pro receiver — despite the fact that others have dismissed the idea that the Bills may trade Diggs.

Stefon Diggs Is Unfazed by Trade Rumors

Adams questioned Diggs about the numerous trade speculations over the last two seasons, which began with his sideline meltdown after the playoff defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2023 and escalated throughout the summer when he made a series of cryptic social media postings hinting at displeasure.

Where does Stefon Diggs' new contract land him among NFL wide receivers?

Diggs stated that he has no control over his near destiny and that anything is possible in the NFL.

“Also, that is not reliant on me, you understand? “I have to remind myself that business is business,” Diggs remarked. “I like to proceed as such, no matter what.”

While Diggs underlined that he had a good relationship with quarterback Josh Allen and referred to him as “my brother,” he also revealed that trade rumors made him concerned about his future.

“I am not saying goodbye. “I hope this isn’t goodbye,” Diggs added. “As I previously stated, I am prepared no matter what happens. When you hear a lot of rumors, you wonder, ‘Where did it come from?’ Do you understand what I am saying? In most cases, when there is smoke, there is fire. I try not to focus too much on it. That’s why I stated I’d just stay where my feet are.
