BREAKING: Dallas Cowboys move will shock the system, and they are fully prepared…

Michael Zimmer vs. Dan Quinn? The new Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator ‘will shock the system!’ Raves Darren Woodson

The Dallas Cowboys’ move ‘will shock the system!’ Darren Woodson raves about Mike Zimmer’s hire.

Las Vegas – Is it a “shock” that the Dallas Cowboys selected Mike Zimmer as their new defensive coordinator? Not at all; we revealed a week ago that he would have the inside track to this job, and we explained why.

But there is another “shock” set to roll into The Star, assures Dallas legend Darren Woodson, who promises that it is just “the shock this team needs.”

Is that a criticism of his predecessor, Dan Quinn, who is currently Washington’s head coach? Not precisely. Does that imply that the Cowboys “run a country club atmosphere” at The Star under head coach Mike McCarthy? Nah. What this means is that change, particularly when it comes with competence, is beneficial.

“I can’t tell you how many times he and I discussed football (this past season) – like, every week,” Woodson remarked. “Every week, he calls about this and that… He’s really into the game… “He knows the game better than anyone.”

There is another issue at work here concerning “the shock”: Remember when Jerry Jones, as part of his “all in” vow, stated that the Cowboys “need disruption”?

While the Jones family’s connection with Zimmer is clearly one of trust and “comfortability,” Zimmer’s management style with his players is far from “comfortable.”

What’s Dan Quinn’s style? He was truly a “best friend” to his teammates.

“They’re getting a great coach, a great man, somebody that’s gonna lead them the right way,” stated Quinn to Washington’s Pro Bowl cornerback DaRon Bland. “I love him. He doesn’t treat you like a coach. He tried to treat you as if he were a sibling, a player, or just another man to talk to.

That worked at a high level for Quinn’s Cowboys. What about now? Zim’s Cowboys provide a “shock at The Star” performance.
