West Ham United conclude deal for Max Hahn’s arrival, which will begin at London Stadium on Wednesday.
Max Hahn has become West Ham’s new Head of Technical Recruitment and Analysis, according to Training Ground Guru.
The behind-the-scenes news source tweeted on Tuesday (6 February) that the 28-year-old will begin his new post at the London Stadium on Wednesday (7 February).
It stated the news shows that Hammers technical director Tim Steidten is making an impact behind the scenes, as Hahn joins the club from Werder Bremen, where he was scouting and analysis co-ordinator.
West Ham’s move to bring in Max Hahn was a smart one.
It’s encouraging to hear that West Ham are working behind the scenes to improve their scouting department with Hahn’s arrival.
He will try to inject youth and new ideas to the Hammers’ scouting network, since recruitment has been hit-and-miss over the years.
With the financial fair play rules putting pressure on teams to keep their expenditure under control, it’s critical that almost every deal is successful.
It’s critical that Steidten is given the freedom to put the pieces in place that he wants after demonstrating that he has an eye for quality, particularly with the additions of Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez.
There will now be a few critical months ahead for the club as we attempt to leverage Hahn’s experience to prepare for the summer transfer market.
