Jason Kelce has had the time of his life since the Philadelphia Eagles season ended, with the most recent chapter taking place Sunday at the Pro Bowl Games.
Kelce was a member of the winning squad, as the NFC defeated the AFC 64-59 overall, with Kelce’s most significant contribution coming during the inaugural ‘Gridiron Gauntlet’ at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
The ‘Gridiron Gauntlet’ was a five-event obstacle course, with the final stage being the only one that did not require individual completion.
Kelce participated in the sled push alongside Penei Sewell and Tristan Wirfs, both offensive linemen.
Wirfs and Sewell pushed the sled, with Kelce on top, screaming and cheering as loudly as he could for his comrades.
When Kelce crossed the finish line ahead of the AFC, he was surrounded by his NFC colleagues.
During the real flag football portion of the Pro Bowl Games, the centers simply snapped the ball and crouched down out of the way of the position players. So the sled push was Kelce’s opportunity to shine.
Kelce’s football future remains uncertain, as stories of his retirement have circulated in the media for about a month, dating back to the Eagles’ loss to Tampa Bay.
Since the Wild Card Round, Kelce has been in the crowd for his younger brother Travis Kelce’s Divisional Round game against the Bills, where Jason jumped out of a luxury suite to have a beer with supporters.
It’s uncertain whether Kelce and Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift will attend the Super Bowl together.
Jason Kelce is clearly having a great time, regardless of what he is doing.
