Chris Streveler, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ quarterback, has returned.

WINNIPEG – Chris Streveler is back with the Winnipeg Bombers.
The American quarterback signed to a one-year contract with the Canadian Football League club on Wednesday. He returns to Winnipeg after spending the previous three seasons in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins.

Streveler will back up American starter Zach Collaros.

Streveler joined the Bombers in 2018 and began the season as a starter after veteran Darian Durant retired and Matt Nichols was injured. He was also forced back into the starting lineup in 2019 when Nichols was injured, and despite compiling a 3-5 record, he helped Winnipeg win its first Grey Cup since 1990.
