Notes: ‘Unfinished business’ could be the Detroit Lions’ new motto
Only a few weeks after losing the opportunity to play in the Super Bowl, the expression “unfinished business” in reference to the Detroit Lions is making the rounds.
Joining the broadcast crew at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, star Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was questioned if he was shocked Ben Johnson chose to stay on as offensive coordinator rather than take a job as a head coach with another team.
“I was a little surprised,” St. Brown explained. “I’m quite excited. I know the entire squad is. I mean, we cannot wait. “We have some unfinished business.”
With defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and special teams coordinator Dave Fipp also staying, the braintrust remains intact. It’s a rare and ideal opportunity to return and resolve some outstanding issues. Print the t-shirts!
