Arthur Smith might be a horrible match in the Steelers’ locker room.
Many supporters flocked to social media to express their displeasure with the Steelers’ decision to hire Smith on Tuesday. Fans believe wide receiver George Pickens could leave the team in 2024.
Smith was chastised for underutilizing his talent while serving as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. This season, he did not obtain enough touches for Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson. Smith’s scheme was heavily criticised by Falcons fans.
Smith will enter a locker room that was upset with offensive play calling during the 2023 season. Pickens and wide receiver Diontae Johnson were obviously irritated during games when they were not receiving touches.
