Leicester City signing is finally’set to proceed’; deal likely to be ‘finished in coming hours’.

Earlier on Wednesday, there was still some doubt about Stefano Sensi’s signing to Leicester City.
Injuries to important Inter Milan players fueled speculation that the midfielder would continue with the Serie A team until next week, but Gazzetta dello Sport reported that was not the case.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed information on the Leicester signing, which is fantastic news for the Foxes.

The writer took to X, formerly Twitter, to say that the Championship side’s contract with their Serie A rivals is’set to proceed’ and would be ‘finished in the next hours’.

Previous sources have stated that Leicester are paying a low fee of around €2 million to recruit Sensi, whose contract with Inter was set to expire at the conclusion of the season.

His lack of game time, as well as the Foxes’ Championship position, enticed him to join the club in the hopes of playing Premier League football the following season.
