In the Divisional Round, the Green Bay Packers’ ninth-ranked passing defense will meet the fourth-ranked passing attack of the San Francisco 49ers.

It is unknown whether Green Bay’s top defensive back will play tomorrow night.

The Green Bay Packers’ elite cornerback is called into doubt.

Jaire Alexander is officially considered questionable for the Divisional Round.

Jaire stepped on a teammate’s foot and rolled his ankle during last week’s practice. Jaire did not practice last Thursday or Friday, but still managed to play versus Dallas. However, he re-injured his ankle in the third quarter and missed the rest of the game.

Jaire did not practice this week, but Matt LaFleur believes he will play:

This season, Jaire has only appeared in eight games. He sustained a back injury in practice when he collided with Alex McGough before Week 3, missing three of their next four games.

Jaire returned for Week 8. He suffered a shoulder injury in Week 9 and missed the following six games.

Jaire returned to action in Week 16, but was suspended for Week 17 due to a coin toss error in the previous game.

During the regular season, Jaire recorded 27 tackles and five pass deflections while allowing 22 receptions on 33 targets for 282 yards, two touchdowns, and a passer rating of 113.4 in coverage.

In the Wild Card game, Jaire recorded seven tackles, one interception, and one pass deflection.

If Jaire is unable to play, who will replace him?

If Jaire is unable to play, Corey Ballentine will replace him. Ballentine filled in for him while he was out with a shoulder issue. He recorded 43 tackles, one interception, and seven pass deflections while allowing 27 completions on 48 targets for 312 yards, two touchdowns, and an 81.2 passer rating in coverage.

If Jaire is unable to play, who will have the most pressure to succeed?
