Some members of Mike Vrabel’s coaching staff are generating buzz across the league. Shane Bowen and Chris Harris have reportedly interviewed for the post of defensive coordinator with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bowen has been with the company since Mike Vrabel joined in 2018. He began as the outside linebackers coach before being promoted to defensive coordinator in 2021. The Tennessee Titans placed 16th in scoring defense in 2023, allowing 21.6 points per game.
Bowen has also allegedly interviewed for the role of defensive coordinator with the New York Giants.

Harris joined Vrabel’s staff as the defensive backs coach in 2023. Before coming with us, he was highly sought after throughout the league. In fact, after agreeing to join the staff here last offseason, he interviewed for a handful of defensive coordinator roles. Whoever the Titans pick as their head coach will most likely be interested in keeping Harris on staff.
