The weather is on everybody’s mind. Some fans joked that the cold (inside of the dome of AT&T Stadium) was to blame for the team’s poor performance.

Despite Senator Ted Cruz’s track record of success, social media believes Ted Cruz is a curse to the teams he supports. The “curse” concept only gained traction following losses by the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series and the University of Texas in the College Football Playoff. Prior to Sunday’s game, the senator expressed his support for the Cowboys, and social media jumped on it as the latest instance of the trend.
