Following a big win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers had an alarming outlook for a crucial pass rusher. The Packers’ pass rush played a significant role in their stunning upset of the Cowboys in the Wild Card round.
The defensive line of the Packers dominated the offensive line of the Cowboys. They sacked Dak Prescott four times for a total of 16 yards. Three games in a row, the Packers’ defense has looked strong. Unfortunately, they will have to try to beat the San Francisco 49ers without Kingsley Enagbare in their next game.
The Green Bay Packers suffer an injury to a pass rusher.
In the second half, Enagbare was injured. During the game, Enagbare was seen walking into the locker room, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman. Following the game, head coach Matt Eberflus provided a brief report on Enagbare. His “heart hurt” for Enagbare, he said:
“My heart is breaking right now for JJ. It’s not looking well for him.”
LaFleur employs such phrase when the Packers believe a player has suffered a serious or season-ending injury. Enagbare is expected to miss the rest of the Packers’ postseason.
According to Andy Herman of Packer Report, Isaiah McDuffie, Quay Walker, and Jaire Alexander are the other Packers players that suffered serious injuries after the Wild Card game on Sunday.
