Following the release of the Dallas Cowboys’ injury report, the Green Bay Packers could benefit greatly from Dak Prescott.

Based on facts in Friday’s injury report, the Green Bay Packers could get a huge break against the Dallas Cowboys in their Wild Card meeting on Sunday if starting quarterback Dak Prescott gets something else.

Several important Packers players are questionable or doubtful to play the Cowboys. The Cowboys’ injury report on Friday revealed that quarterback Cooper Rush is questionable to play against the Packers due to sickness.

The Green Bay Packers could get a huge break on Sunday.

Rush did not practice with the Cowboys on Friday. Rush’s diseases were not described in detail. If Rush has a contagious sickness, it’s probable that it’s spread throughout the quarterback room and will cause Prescott to have negative effects by Sunday.

Prescott’s performance this season has put him in consideration for the NFL MVP award (albeit Lamar Jackson is the favorite to win). If Prescott isn’t healthy against the Packers, the Cowboys’ offense could suffer a major setback.

Last month, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts played through an illness against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Hurts’ performance was hampered by illness, as he finished 17/31 throwing for 143 yards and two interceptions in a loss to the Seahawks.

The Cowboys must pray it does not happen to Prescott this weekend.
