The Detroit Lions returned to the practice field on Thursday to continue their preparations for the Minnesota Vikings. Detroit is attempting to win its 12th game of the regular season, a feat last accomplished in 1991.
Frank Ragnow, Brock Wright, and Jameson Williams were among those who did not take part in the portion of practice open to the media. Detroit’s quick wideout has now missed his second practice in a row.
Taylor Decker was sighted at the team’s Allen Park practice facility after missing practice on Wednesday. The Lions are not holding back ahead of Sunday’s game, as coach Dan Campbell intends to play all of the team’s starters.
“To me, it’s all about winning this game,” Campbell explained. “And we’re going to use our entire arsenal to win this game.” That is the goal here.”
To move up in the standings, the Lions would need defeats from both Dallas and Philadelphia, as well as a win. Both Dallas and Philadelphia are expected to kick off their games at 4:25 p.m.
As a result, the games following the Lions’ will be filled with suspense. “No, I mean, everybody’s gonna be wanting to see it and that’s why you’ve got to win, so you’re excited to watch the games and see what happens,” he said. “We’ve got to finish strong, we’ve got to finish strong.”
