Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Ken Bowman Dies at the Age of 81, Following a Three-Time Championship-Winning Career

Ken Bowman, the renowned Green Bay Packers center, has died at the age of 81.

Bowman won three Super Bowls with the Packers from 1964 to 1973.

According to the team, he died of natural causes.

He was a part of the legendary “Ice Bowl,” in which Green Bay defeated the Cowboys 21-17 in the 1967 NFL championship game.

The temperature was minus-13 degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff.

Green Bay’s stunning win sent the Packers to the Super Bowl, where they defeated the Raiders for a second consecutive triumph.

The year prior, he took over for starter Bill Curry in a Packers victory over the Chiefs.

He made 107 starts and appeared in 123 games with Green Bay.
