Green Bay Packers fans are ecstatic about the possibility of adding Aaron Rodgers’ former teammate for a playoff push.

The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers will be forever intertwined. Rodgers will be remembered as a Packer no matter how long he plays for the New York Jets. However, one former teammate who spent the whole 2023 season with Rodgers has been linked to the Packers in an unusual way.

For a playoff push, the Green Bay Packers could easily sign former Aaron Rodgers teammate Dalvin Cook.

Evan Massey emphasized how quickly the Packers might add the veteran running back:

In the midst of fan speculation that the Packers should chase Cook, cap expert Ken Ingalls took to Twitter to share how much claiming Cook would cost Green Bay. The cost would be reasonable.

If the Packers believe they may benefit from running back depth, this would be an excellent move. Aaron Jones has been hampered by injuries this season, and AJ Dillon has been hampered in recent weeks. Dalvin Cook would simply provide more depth for Green Bay to work with.
