Green Bay Packers Fans Want Michigan Wolverines Stud Running Back in the 2024 NFL Draft

Green Bay Packers supporters were watching running back Blake Corum’s performance in the College Football Playoff Semifinals between the Michigan Wolverines and the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl. Corum scored the game-winning 17-yard touchdown in overtime as Michigan defeated Alabama 27-20 to advance to the National Championship Game.

After defeating the Texas Longhorns 37-31 in the All-State Sugar Bowl, they will face the Washington Huskies. Blake Corum ran for 83 yards on 19 rushes and one touchdown against Alabama, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. He also grabbed two passes for 35 yards and a touchdown, with an average of 17.5 yards per reception.

Corum has run for 1,111 yards on 237 rushes and 25 touchdowns for Michigan this season, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. He has caught only 16 passes for 117 yards and one touchdown, averaging 7.3 yards per catch.

Blake Corum is expected to be drafted in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers will have two picks in that round, and a running back could be one of their requirements. There will be discussions regarding what to do with Aaron Jones’ contract and whether to re-sign A.J. Dillon.

There is no doubt that the Packers will select a running back in the 2024 NFL Draft. Patrick Taylor Jr. is the team’s only other running back. If Aaron Jones is not re-signed and A.J. Dillon is not re-signed, Corum would be a good place to start when it comes to overhauling the Packers’ running back room.
