Aaron Jones, running back for the Green Bay Packers, couldn’t be more proud of his teammates after they defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday to increase their prospects of making the playoffs.

The Packers dominated from tip to finish, with both the offense and defense contributing significantly. While the defense has received a lot of flak this season, defensive coordinator Joe Barry truly stepped up in Week 18.

Aside from dropping 33 points on the Vikings, the Packers held them to only 10 points.

Jones, for his part, was a constant threat on the offensive side of the ball. While he did not score a touchdown, he did have 20 carries and a team-high 120 rushing yards to get them started. Quarterback Jordan Love, on the other hand, completed 24 of 33 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns while also scoring one on the ground.

The Packers now have complete control of their destiny thanks to the victory. They must win out to ensure their place in the playoffs. Making the playoffs seemed a long shot for a Green Bay team that started the season 2-5, yet here they are, in complete control of their destiny.

Aaron Jones was so taken with the Green Bay Packers’ progress this season that he couldn’t help but express his admiration for the squad.

Jones also praised the team’s never-say-die mentality, which was evident in their season-long turnaround to become a playoff-caliber group.

“This is a team I’d go to war with any day.” “There’s no quitting in this locker room,” Jones said of the Packers, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.

Jones couldn’t have stated it better himself. The Packers have demonstrated that they do not give up, and Jones would not have it any other way.

The Packers will play their most important game of the season next weekend, and they will need all of the grit they have developed over the season.
The Green Bay Packers’ Playoff Prospects

Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers now have only one goal in their Week 18 matchup against the Chicago Bears: win.

While the task may be difficult, the Packers have momentum on their side. They will also secure a Wild Card position in the NFC if they win.

After being removed from playoff contention, the Bears have nothing to play for, which might work in the Packers’ favor. After all, Chicago may decide not to go all-out to close the season in order to avoid injuring its players.

However, regardless of what Chicago accomplishes, the Packers must win. If not, they will need the remaining contenders–the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, and Minnesota Vikings–to lose in order to make the playoffs.

However, after Jones’ latest comments, there is every reason to believe Green Bay can pull it off.
