Mason Crosby had a prime opportunity to give the New York Giants an upset over the Rams on Sunday and ruin their chances of making the playoffs as an NFC Wildcard only one week after nailing on a key 52-yarder for his new team.
With a little more than a minute remaining and no timeouts, Tyrod Taylor and the Giants offense produced an incredible drive, and with little time left, Crosby onto the field to pull off the improbable upset:
Crosby had a golden opportunity to exact vengeance on the team that had just cut him and spoil their prospects of making the playoffs, but the kick failed. It went wide left, and the New York Giants were defeated 26-25.
