Philadelphia insider provided negative reports on the Eagles.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, despite starting the season with an outstanding 10-1 record, the attitude within the Philadelphia Eagles’ locker room was far from jubilant. According to reports, the mood was tight and more apprehensive than expected, given the team’s outstanding performance.

According to one source, the Eagles are the “most miserable 10-1 team.” The unhappiness in the locker room during the team’s 10-1 start raises questions about morale, especially now that they are on a three-game losing skid.

Following losses to the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Seattle Seahawks, one veteran NFL executive went so far as to call the Eagles’ culture a “clown show,” as Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer wrote.

During this losing streak, the Eagles have ceded their NFC lead and are now the No. 5 seed in the conference, with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys securing the top two seeds. The offense has been especially disappointing, with quarterback Jalen Hurts averaging just 638 yards and one touchdown versus two interceptions throughout the team’s three-game losing streak.

The defense, which allowed 255.4 passing yards per game (fifth-most in the NFL) and 24.4 points per game this season, has added to the team’s difficulties.

On the plus side, the Eagles are second in the NFC East with a 10-4 record and have clinched a playoff spot. Their upcoming games against the New York Giants and the Arizona Cardinals provide chances to enhance their record and standings before the postseason. Losses in these key games, on the other hand, could be devastating not just to the team’s record but also to their psyche as they face the playoffs.
