Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian discussed the program’s excellent Early Signing Day, which saw the Longhorns sign four five-star recruits to their 2024 class.
Notably, Sarkisian noted the impact current players made in convincing the 2024 class to join them on university next semester, or next football season, according to Inside Texas.
“I believe that our current players are also very important to our recruiting success.” They perform an excellent job. “And our guys understand that the better the players around them are, the better we’ll be as a team, and the more opportunities they’ll have to win championships and hopefully fulfill their dreams of playing in the NFL, things like that,” Sarkisian said.
“Ultimately, our players get a lot of credit for this recruiting class as well because it makes it a lot more difficult without them talking about the program, how we go about our business, solidifying some of the thoughts people have,” the head coach added. So grateful to those guys and pleased of the work they’ve done in this recruiting class as well.”
