Green Bay Packers fans had the same reaction on Twitter after the Packers’ Week 15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Green Bay Packers were defeated 34-20 at home by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon, their second loss in a row. The Packers fall to 6-8 on the season and are currently out of the playoff picture. On Sunday, many supporters blamed the loss on someone other than quarterback Jordan Love: defensive coordinator Joe Barry.

Despite generating five sacks, the defense was atrocious for the second consecutive game. They allowed a perfect passer rating to Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield, who has struggled all season. In the game, he completed 22 of 28 throws for 381 yards and four touchdowns. His passing score was 158.3. This greatly enraged the Packers faithful.

After the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers fans want Joe Barry fired.

Most of the Packers’ difficulties this season can be attributed to one person: defensive coordinator Joe Barry. After the game, head coach Matt LaFleur was asked if he would make a defensive coordinator change during the season, and he said that now was not the time.

Green Bay struggled in their game against Tommy DeVito and the New York Giants. They gave them 24 points. The New Orleans Saints only allowed six points to the New York Giants on Sunday, which is why Packers fans want Barry gone.

Following the game, Green Bay fans tweeted the following on the Packers’ Twitter page:

I am absolutely convinced that Joe Barry will make Bryce Young throw for 500 yards 5TD’s next week. Why we continue to put faith in this dude week in week out is so fucking questionable. GROW A PAIR AND DO WHATS RIGHT MATT. SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE

The truth is that there are dozens more of similar messages on the Packers’ Twitter account. The defensive coordinator was blamed, and it appeared that no one else was to blame for the loss. Green Bay’s defense, not Jordan Love, has cost them multiple times this season.

Many additional Green Bay Packers fans commented that this is something Aaron Rodgers has faced with multiple times as the franchise’s quarterback. Hopefully, head coach Matt LaFleur does not bring back Joe Barry at the end of the season and they can learn from their mistakes.
