Here’s what needs to happen for the Philadelphia Eagles to secure a spot in the NFL Playoffs in Week 15.
The Philadelphia Eagles are on a two-game losing streak heading into their Week 15 clash against the Seattle Seahawks.
Following a thrilling overtime win against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, Nick Sirianni’s team was blasted 42-19 by the San Francisco 49ers a week later, pushing them out of first place in the overall NFC standings.
And just last Sunday night, the Eagles surrendered their first-place position in the NFC East after taking yet another beating, this time at the hands of the rival Dallas Cowboys, who defeated Philly 33-13 to take over the division lead.
Despite their recent problems, Jalen Hurts and company will have it much easier over the remaining four weeks of the regular season, with no games against teams with a winning record. While determining the champion of the NFC East will take some time, the Eagles can at least punch their ticket to the NFL Playoffs this week.
How the Philadelphia Eagles clinch a playoff spot in Week 15
This week, the Eagles will be able to punch their third consecutive postseason ticket.
While visiting the Seattle Seahawks is never fun, the Eagles should have little issue in Week 15, since Pete Carroll’s team has lost four consecutive.
The Seahawks, like the Eagles, did not have the schedule makers on their side, as their last three games included two NFC West clashes with the 49ers and a road game in Dallas versus the Cowboys.
So, while no victory is guaranteed in the NFL (just ask the Dolphins), the Eagles receive a break against a struggling Seahawks club on Monday night.
In terms of how Philadelphia can clinch a postseason position in Week 15, nine different scenarios could play out. The first is the most straightforward: if the Eagles win or tie, they’re in. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. But, just in case Philadelphia loses its third game in a row, let’s take a short look at each scenario.
The Eagles defeated the Seahawks in a draw.
The Vikings lost/tied against the Bengals, while the Falcons lost/tied against the Panthers and the Rams lost/tied against the Commanders.
The Vikings lose/tie against the Bengals, the Falcons lose/tie against the Panthers, the 49ers win/tie against the Cardinals, and the Lions win against the Broncos.

What is the rest of the Eagles’ schedule?
Over the next four weeks, Philadelphia has the easiest schedule in the NFL.
Philadelphia, of all 32 NFL teams, has the easiest remaining schedule over the next month, at least through Week 15.
Following a difficult five-game period in which they faced the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, and Cowboys (twice), the Eagles will not face a single club with a winning record the rest of the way. Examine it out.

If the Eagles don’t clinch a third straight postseason berth this week, they have nothing to worry about because missing the playoffs is basically inconceivable at this point.
Even if they do get in this week, Philly will not be content to sit out the remainder of the season. While the Cowboys now lead the NFC East, the Eagles will win the division if they go 4-0 in the last four weeks, even if the Cowboys do the same.
