awe wait for Rodgers’ reaction to become a meme, the Jets’ season comes to a merciful conclusion. The squad was rated 25th in passing yards, 30th in rushing yards, and 31st in total yards per game heading into today’s game.

“We’re just trying to spark the offense,” Jets head coach Robert Saleh stated after the team’s problems last week. “We’re looking. On the field today, I felt like there were a lot of squandered opportunities with potential explosives and touchdowns. And we must find a method to capitalize on such opportunities when they arise.

“Our players work hard. On offense, we need to straighten up the pre-snap stuff in terms of cadence utilization. It’s evident that we’re being duped more than they are. But it’s something we need to work on.”

If the Jets lose to the Dolphins this afternoon, Saleh’s record will plummet to 12-25 in 35 games.

Barring a miraculous turnaround, the squad will finish 5-9 on the season, effectively eliminating them from AFC postseason contention.

The Jets have not made the playoffs in almost a decade.
