Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers – I Stand Bold in My Comments

The Green Bay Packers are now 6-7 after a humiliating 24-22 loss to the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. It was a difficult game to watch because both teams committed important blunders during the game that could have lost them the victory. In the end, the Packers made more errors than the Giants.

Of course, Joe Barry’s defensive play-calling has once again been questioned. During his Monday press conference, head coach Matt LaFleur stated that it needed to be fixed. In addition, a turnover by kick/punt returner Keisean Nixon in the second half led to a New York touchdown.

Jordan Love feels great after his debut as the Packers' full-time starter

Anders Carlson missed a field goal, Nixon failed his coverage on the final drive, and the Packers’ special teams were flagged for repeated violations. Furthermore, first-year starting quarterback Jordan Love struggled for the majority of the game. He overthrew receivers, threw a poor interception, and resembled the struggling quarterback seen by Packers fans in October, when Green Bay lost four straight games.

Love, on the other hand, put together a fantastic last attacking drive. He led his team down the field and scored a touchdown throw to Malik Heath to put Green Bay ahead. While he was far from ideal, he did enough to help his side win. The defense, on the other hand, was unable to keep their half of the bargain.

Jordan Love believes the Green Bay Packers have the potential to be a good team.

Love was not the quarterback that defeated the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs in three straight games. To be honest, the majority of his teammates didn’t appear as good as they did in the previous three games.

What was so depressing was that the squad appeared to have taken steps back rather than forward in their progress. Love, on the other hand, does not believe that the loss defines who they are as a team. He stated to reporters:

“Had plenty of chances to take advantage of that game and win it, but didn’t take them.” The first half fell short of our expectations. So. It’s disheartening.

“I believe we have a fantastic team.” Obviously, we’re a squad that has been in this situation before, lost some tough games, and recovered. So I’m confident we’ll be able to recover next week.”

On Sunday, the Packers face the Buccaneers, who are also 6-7. Green Bay still has the seventh and final spot in the NFC Playoffs, but it will need to win some more games in the closing weeks of the season to keep it.
