The Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing for a “must-win” Week 15 game on Sunday. Both teams are 6-7 and in the thick of the NFC postseason race. With a win, the Packers can keep their seventh-place playoff seed. The Buccaneers, along with the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons, are vying for the NFC South title.
Obviously, injuries will be a huge factor for any team as the season winds down, and the Packers received a major news today on their young star wide receiver Christian Watson.
The Green Bay Packers provide a significant update on wide receiver Christian Watson ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Watson is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
Watson is on the verge of missing his second consecutive game after tearing his hamstring in the team’s Week 13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Watson was ruled out of last week’s Giants game after being unable to practice all week. Green Bay eventually lost 24-22 in New York.
If Watson is unable to play, the Packers would most likely rely on wide receivers Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. Hopefully, Watson will be able to play in the team’s final few games as they fight their way to the playoffs.
