A big Week 15 battle between the Tampa Bay Bucs and the Green Bay Packers is approaching. Both clubs have a good chance of making the NFC playoffs. With their current NFC seventh seed, the Packers are in control of their own fate come playoff time.

The Buccaneers are tied for first position in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. Both teams have a “must win” every week. Jordan Love, however, made a clear statement this week.

Before facing the Tampa Bay Bucs, quarterback Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers makes a pledge.

The Giants’ defeat significantly hurt the Packers’ chances of making the playoffs as they fell to 6-7. The Packers are now matched with five other NFC teams with 6-7 records, despite still having the No. 7 seed in the playoffs. They have to win all of their remaining games or they risk being eliminated from the playoffs.

After Monday night’s defeat, quarterback Jordan Love believes his squad will resume its winning ways:

According to Love, “we’re a team that’s been in this situation,” the Packers website reported. “We’ve suffered some close losses but have recovered from them. Next week, we’ll be able to get better.

Packers QB Jordan Love is regressing into his worst-case scenario

The Packers had a 2-1 start to the season before finishing at 3-6. After that, the club won three games in a row to climb back to.500 and to be seriously considered for the playoffs.

The Packers were thought to have had a better chance of winning their Monday night football matchup against the Giants. Nothing in the NFL is guaranteed, as we have all seen. Whether Jordan Love and this Packers squad can recover against a team that is also attempting to salvage their season will be interesting to see.
