On Wednesday, the Arizona Cardinals added receiver Dan Chisena and cornerback William Hooper to their practice squad ahead of their Sunday game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Chisena has only played 11 offensive snaps in three years with the Minnesota Vikings, but he has 496 special teams reps in 27 games. In his career, he had 11 tackles and one fumble recovery.
Chisena signed as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State in 2020.
The 26-year-old spent the preseason with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad on Tuesday.
Hooper, 23, spent two weeks on the practice squad of the New England Patriots in September and also played in the Green Bay Packers’ preseason.
Before turning pro, the 5-foot-10, 180-pound defensive back recorded 100 tackles, three interceptions, and 21 passes defensed in 46 college games with Northwestern State.
