Leicester City is preparing a €40 million offer for a defender – the Foxes are on the verge of making a signing.

According to Brazilian media, Leicester City are about to make a move for Lucas Beraldo from So Paulo.

According to reports, So Paulo has already told Leicester City that they will not even open talks for anything less than that, so those figures are expected to be on the table.

According to UOL, representatives from the Foxes scouted the player in action against Red Bull Bragantino last month and were apparently impressed by his performance.
According to reports, So Paulo needs to sell players before the end of the year, and they know Beraldo is one of the most sought-after players on the market.

Beraldo has already been linked with Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent months.

That’s a clear indication that Leicester City needs to act quickly and make a strong bid to win the race. Because the Brazilian season is coming to an end, they may have a better chance than those who attempted the transfer during the European summer.
