The Green Bay Packers are gearing up for a big game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. Jordan Love and the offense have looked much better recently, and they hope to build on their recent success. Jayden Reed, one of his favorite targets, has been out of practice this week due to a chest injury. He returned on Friday, which bodes well for his ability to play this week.
Jayden Reed of the Green Bay Packers has returned to practice.
Despite missing practice, head coach Matt LaFleur stated that Reed would be ready to play barring any setbacks. Seeing Reed on the practice field is still a good sign. Reed has become one of Love’s favorite targets this season and is quickly becoming one of the team’s top receivers. He was hit in the chest during the Chargers game, but he played on Thanksgiving. The team is keeping an eye on it, but he appears to be fine to continue playing.
Offense Establishing Its Footing
The offense has looked much better in recent weeks, and it’s not just Reed. Christian Watson is becoming more like himself in 2022. Romeo Doubs remains a reliable red-zone target. A.J. Dillon is running with purpose, and the offensive line is improving by the week. If they want to upset the Chiefs, they’ll have to bring their “A” game. While the Chiefs’ offense hasn’t been as sharp as it could be, any offense led by Patrick Mahomes is dangerous.
If the Green Bay Packers win, it will give Jayden Reed and the other rookies a huge confidence boost. The playoff push has begun!
