Green Bay Packers Fans React To Former Teammate’s Re-Signing Ahead Of Kansas City Chiefs Game

In Week 12, the Green Bay Packers hope to get back to.500 on the season. The Packers will host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football at Lambeau Field. The Chiefs (8-3) are still in contention for the AFC’s top seed. The Packers (5-6) are one spot out of the NFC’s final wild card spot.

Packers sign former All-Rookie running back

It will be a crucial game for both teams. For their Week 12 matchup, the Packers decided to bring back a familiar face.

The Green Bay Packers re-sign running back James Robinson ahead of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Packers signed James Robinson, who had spent three weeks on the Packers’ practice squad earlier in the season, in an effort to ensure that they could field a playable offense. Prior to the game against Detroit, he was signed to their practice squad once more. Running back Patrick Taylor, who was released by the Green Bay Packers earlier this season, was signed to their 53-man roster off the practice squad of the New England Patriots.

The Packers also added depth at wide receiver by promoting Bo Melton from the practice squad. He was signed by Green Bay in December of last season after being drafted in the seventh round by the Seattle Seahawks in 2022. He was signed to their practice squad after failing to make the team out of training camp this year.

This isn’t the first time the Packers have re-signed James Robinson this season, and fans have taken notice:
