The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the final 25 players for the class of 2024 on Tuesday. Later, the list will be reduced to 15 names. On that list are two former Green Bay Packers.

Julius Peppers’ Green Bay Packers Career

Green Bay Packers: 2 Players Announced as Pro Football Hall of Fame  Semifinalists

Julius Peppers signed a three-year, $30 million contract with the Packers in 2014, with the first year guaranteed at $7.5 million. Peppers was a member of the Green Bay Packers’ defense from 2014 to 2016, and he had a significant impact on the team’s defense, which made the playoffs all three years he was there. Peppers had already made a name for himself with the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears before joining the Packers, but he continued to perform admirably.

Peppers is a nine-time Pro Bowler, NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, and member of the Carolina Panthers Hall of Fame.

Jahri Evans’ Green Bay Experience

Jahri Evans joined the Packers in 2017 and appeared in 14 games as a right guard that season. Evans had already established himself as a capable player with the New Orleans Saints prior to joining the Packers. He finished his final NFL season with the Green Bay Packers, starting all 183 games he appeared in.

Evans is a two-time Super Bowl champion, a six-time Pro Bowler, and a member of the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.
