West Ham’s loss of Jarrod Bowen is a “big deal,” and David Moyes is “struggling.”
Without Jarrod Bowen, West Ham United may struggle.
West Ham United were forced to play without Jarrod Bowen against Burnley at the weekend, and journalist Paul Brown has told GIVEMESPORT that the Hammers will struggle without him.
Bowen has undoubtedly been one of West Ham’s best players this season, and despite winning three points at Turf Moor without him, the Hammers’ performance was far from convincing. The Hammers waited too long to win the game and clearly lacked something in the final third that Bowen would normally provide.
Fortunately for David Moyes, Mohamed Kudus was signed in the summer transfer window, and the Ghana international scored twice against Vincent Kompany’s side. Bowen has even played through the middle of the attack at times this season, and with Michail Antonio also out injured, Moyes will have missed the England international.
West Ham may have to live without Jarrod Bowen indefinitely.
Naturally, big clubs will come sniffing when one of your players is performing well for a club like West Ham, who aren’t competing for European places in the Premier League. Bowen has been fantastic this season and has taken his game to another level, so the Hammers may struggle to keep him for much longer.
Despite recently signing a new contract and journalist Brown previously telling GIVEMESPORT that Bowen was content at the London Stadium, the former Hull City winger could be tempted to leave if clubs come knocking. According to talkSPORT, Newcastle United and Liverpool were both interested in signing Bowen, with the latter possibly seeing him as a replacement for Mohamed Salah.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool could look to bring Bowen to Anfield if Salah decides to move to Saudi Arabia. According to the dependable source, he may have seen Declan Rice sign for a Champions League club and wishes to make a similar move. The capital side will hold all of the cards in the negotiations and will be under no pressure to get rid of Bowen, who signed a new seven-year contract in October.
