HBO Max’s Hard Knocks: In Season with the Miami Dolphins Head Coach sees Mike McDaniel as the team’s head coach for a second season.

 

Mike, who is 40 years old, is from Colorado. He previously worked for the Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, and Atlanta Falcons as a running backs coach, wide receivers coach, and offensive assistant before joining the Miami Dolphins last year.

 

In terms of his personal life, the coach is married and has a young daughter. His Instagram handle is @hcmikemcdaniel.

Mike stated on Pardon My Take in June that his passion for his job was “born out of survival.”

Mike described the “run game” as “beautiful,” adding that his wife “looks at him like he’s a weirdo” because he enjoys it.
