Newcastle United are expected to sign a La Liga midfielder with a €100 million release clause after a fee dispute.

Manchester United and Newcastle United could sign a highly rated LaLiga midfielder with a €100 million release clause for as little as €35 million, while Liverpool’s interest in a flying Bundesliga winger has been confirmed as ‘concrete’, according to Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.

PREMIER DUO READY TO SWOOP FOR LALIGA’S TOP STARLET
Manchester United and Newcastle United appear to have received a boost in their pursuit of talented Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra in 2024.

The LaLiga club has recently enraged their own fans by offloading players such as Goncalo Guedes and Carlos Soler, and it appears that they are now ready to cash in on Guerra.

The 20-year-old is the latest player to emerge from their Paterna academy, and any sale is expected to spark outrage.

Guerra has established himself as a regular starter this season, excelling so much that Manchester United and Newcastle United are both interested in him.

The young midfielder, who has also been linked with Juventus, has a €100 million release clause in his contract, which runs until 2027.

However, his former club Villarreal have a 30% sell-on clause, which means any deal could be worth millions to the Yellow Submarine.

Guerra is available for a low fee.

To make matters worse for Los Che fans, he could now be available for as little as €35-40 million instead.

That’s according to tuttomercatoweb, with Guerra set to attract plenty of suitors at that sort of price tag.

Indeed, the youngster is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Spanish football, so potentially losing him to the Premier League would not came as a blow to Valencia but to LaLiga as a whole.
