Yankuba Minteh is expected to be available for Feyenoord ahead of Saturday’s Rotterdam derby against Excelsior, according to VI. Minteh has been one of Feyenoord’s most dangerous attacking players this season, but he has missed the last five games due to a muscle injury. Arne Slot, the team’s head coach, confirmed the 19-year-old’s return on Friday.

Minteh has three goals and one assist for the Dutch champions since joining on loan from Newcastle United in the summer. The forward, who has only been playing professionally for two years, has helped Feyenoord to second place in the Eredivisie table as they seek a second consecutive title.

Overtaking PSV at the top of the table appears to be a difficult task. This season, Peter Bosz’s team has won every league game and is unstoppable. Next weekend, Feyenoord host PSV at De Kuip, and with Yankuba Minteh available, they should be able to take three points.
