Jalen Ramsey has three interceptions in three games since returning from injury, helping to transform Miami’s defense into a force to be reckoned with.
The Miami Dolphins have broken records all season, with several players receiving individual honors. For his outstanding start to the season, QB1 Tua Tagovailoa has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week and AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September).
Tyreek Hill won Offensive Player of the Month in October, following in the footsteps of his quarterback. De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert, both running backs, have been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week this season. Mostert won his back in Week 6 and Achane in Week 3.
There is now a new star on that historic roster. He’s a star who busted his [redacted] to get back on the field, and he’s been outstanding since his regular-season debut. Jalen Ramsey, you earned this after your two-interception performance, one of which sealed Miami’s victory.

The Dolphins re-signed Jalen Ramsey just in time, and the tides have shifted in South Florida. Instead of the offense looking like an unstoppable force early in the season, it’s been the defense’s turn to shine. And they’ve really stepped up since Ramsey’s return.
Ramsey has six tackles and three interceptions in three games played for the Dolphins. More impressive, the defense has had their best performances, allowing a league-low 68.7 yards on the ground in the last three games. In that time, the pass defense has ranked ninth in yards allowed, allowing 191.7 yards per game, but it’s difficult to credit Ramsey for any of that when quarterbacks are afraid to target him.
Talking about quarterbacks.
On Friday, Ramsey and the Dolphins will try to shut down a Jets offense that will be led by veteran Tim Boyle. Boyle has gone 0-3 as a starter, completing 73 of 120 passes (60.8%) for 607 yards, three touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
What does it all mean? Expect another interception from Jalen Ramsey in Week 12 against the New York Jets. That is, if Tim Boyle, Trevor Siemian, or even Zach Wilson, the backup quarterback, are foolish enough to throw to him.
