DETROIT – On Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 23, the Green Bay Packers will face the Detroit Lions. It’s a game that can only be seen on FOX6.

According to Packers.com, this is Green Bay’s first holiday game since hosting the Bears in 2015, and Detroit’s first since 2013.

The Packers and Lions will meet for the 22nd time on Thanksgiving, the most in the NFL (the Lions and Bears are second with 19 games). On Thanksgiving, the Packers are 14-20-2 overall, with an 8-12-1 record against the Lions.

Rivalry between the Packers and the Lions
The Packers lead the regular-season series, 103-76-7 (.573), and have won both postseason games between the two teams. Green Bay has 103 regular-season victories over the Lions, the most of any team.

The Lions and Packers share one of the league’s most streaky series, with one team sweeping the season series in six of the last seven years. Green Bay is 9-4 in road division games under Head Coach Matt LaFleur, a.692 winning percentage that leads the NFC North and is tied for fifth in the NFL over that span.
