Junior Firpo, Leeds United’s left-back, has weighed in on Ethan Ampadu’s performance against Plymouth Argyle at Elland Road.

Firpo was very impressed by Ampadu.

So, what has Junior Firpo said on Instagram about his Leeds United teammate Ethan Ampadu?

Leeds United continued their impressive form this season with a 2-1 Championship victory over Plymouth Argyle at Elland Road on Saturday.

Daniel James put Leeds ahead after 21 minutes.

On 28 minutes, Joel Piroe doubled the home team’s lead.

Leeds’ match began with Ethan Ampadu.

In a 4-2-3-1 formation, the Wales international started alongside Glen Kamara in holding midfield.

Ampadu had another excellent game for Leeds.

Junior Firpo was impressed, as you can see in the video below.

In the first 30 minutes of the game, Ampadu established himself in the center of the park, claiming all loose balls.

The former Chelsea midfielder was a force to be reckoned with and kept things moving after the break.

Junior Firpo pushing for return to former club with double defensive  departure on for Leeds

Under Leeds head coach Daniel Farke, the 23-year-old is progressing well and has established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet.

This season, the Wales international has made 16 Championship appearances for the West Yorkshire club.

Ampadu, who cost Leeds £7 million in the summer transfer window when he joined from Chelsea (The London Evening Standard), has also appeared twice in the Carabao Cup for the Whites.

Leeds are currently third in the Championship table, with 31 points from 16 games.

Farke’s team is eight points behind Leicester City and Ipswich Town, who are first and second in the table, respectively.
