BirminghamLive brings you the latest Aston Villa news, including reports that the Villans are interested in Norwich City midfielder Jonathan Rowe.
Wolves are reportedly interested in Aston Villa-linked Jonathan Rowe, according to new transfer rumors.
According to recent reports, Villa has “taken an interest” in the attacking midfielder. The 20-year-old has been in excellent form for the Canaries this season in the Championship, scoring eight goals in 18 appearances across all competitions.
Rowe came through the Norwich youth system and made 13 Premier League substitute appearances after making his senior debut during the club’s disastrous 2021/22 season. Rowe only appeared in three games last season after the Canaries were relegated to the second tier due to injuries.

TEAMtalk now claims that the Wolves have entered the race for Rowe’s signature. Gary O’Neil is said to be looking to strengthen his attack for the second half of the season and sees the versatile Rowe as an ideal target.
The Championship star’s current contract is also said to expire in June 2025, with Norwich having the option to extend it by a year. However, they have yet to announce any improved terms, causing his list of suitors to grow.
Villa and Wolves are not the only clubs linked with a January move for Rowe. Brentford, Crystal Palace, and Sheffield United are also said to be keeping tabs on the player.
