However, a high source within the London Stadium informed Hammers News that those accusations were false.

However, a report from talkSPORT claims that, while Moyes is unlikely to be fired this season, the 60-year-old Hammers manager will not be offered a new contract and will leave the club in May 2024.

Since September, West Ham’s Premier League record has been dismal. We’ve only won four of our last seven games, and Moyes is feeling the pressure.

We may have to wait another six months until the Scot departs, but who will fill his shoes?

Tim Steidten appears to be in line for a significant role once Moyes is relieved of his duties as West Ham manager.

And it appears that names like Marcelo Bielsa and Rafa Benitez will not be on the German’s radar.

According to football journalist Paul Brown, while Moyes’ days may be numbered, Steidten will not appoint an experienced manager to replace the Scot:

That is actually very encouraging to hear. West Ham should aim to begin a new era of success under the direction of a youthful and progressive manager.

Someone like Xabi Alonso or Ruben Amorim would be excellent, but those names may be too ambitious for us at the moment.

Graham Potter, Will Still, and Michael Carrick are all more likely to visit the London Stadium.

If David Moyes is fired, finding a suitable replacement will definitely be Steidten’s most critical task yet.

And, based on Paul Brown’s newest remark, it appears that we may be on a very exciting path as a club.
