Aston Villa are planning a move to sign a Premier League powerhouse with 192 appearances.

If Aston Villa can finish the season as well as they started, Unai Emery will be praised for the excellent job he has done.
At the time of writing, they are fifth in the Premier League table, playing as well as they have in recent years, and are undoubtedly a more cohesive one than when Steven Gerrard took over.

There’s little doubt that the players now understand what Emery is attempting to execute, and the effects are seen on the field week in and week out.

That is not to say that the club will not strive to improve in all aspects come January.

Many of the major football clubs appear to do their greatest business when they are at the top of their game, rather than when they are on a downward spiral. For want of a better description, proactive rather than reactive.

To that end, TeamTalk claims that Villa are interested in Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi.

According to the newspaper, Tottenham, Newcastle, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Lyon, and Monaco are all interested in the midfielder, who has made 192 Premier League games.

With his contract expiring at the conclusion of the season, he’ll be a little cheaper than usual, and at 26 years old, he still has a few years remaining in the game.

Despite the competition, Villa may consider themselves the favorites for his signature, considering that the player would not have to relocate to play for them.
