The complete list of Premier League players on the verge of a one-game suspension.

The 2023/24 Premier League season will reach its 12-game mark this weekend before players depart for the year’s final international break.

Wolves play Tottenham Hotspur at home on Saturday after losing 4-1 to Chelsea in a thrilling London Derby on Monday evening. Aston Villa play Fulham at Villa Park on Sunday, November 12, since they are in UEFA Europa Conference League action on Thursday night.

Both clubs will be eager to complete the latest round of fixtures with a win, as they prepare for a busy time that includes several midweek games in early December, as well as the festive season, which includes some games played in fast succession. Squad availability will be critical, but certain players may miss their next encounter if they receive a yellow card this weekend.

According to the rules, any player who receives five bookings in the first 19 Premier League games of the season would be suspended for one match. Yellow cards received in the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) or the FA Cup do not carry over. The Premier League’s Matchday 19 is on Boxing Day, thus there are still several rounds of games to play to avoid a ban.

Several players have already missed games this season, including Mario Lemina, who was sent off in the West Midlands Derby against Aston Villa at Molineux. So far, no Villa player has been fired in the league, but it does not rule out the possibility of a ban.
