Warriors’ Draymond Green criticizes the NBA following Jarrett Allen’s nut shot.

Warriors attack Draymond Green was displeased with the NBA after getting a taste of his own medicine from Cavs’ Jarrett Allen.

On Sunday night, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green got a taste of his own medicine against the Cleveland Cavaliers… and he didn’t like it one bit. Green was kicked in the groin area by Jarrett Allen early in the Warriors’ eventual 115-104 loss to the Cavs, crumpling to the ground in anguish that any man can relate to.

The Warriors forward was not satisfied with the outcome of the game. Green, in an Instagram story, chastised officials for what he considers as bias against him, claiming that the league’s ban on shots to the sensitive area of a man’s body only applies when it’s him who delivers the nut shot.

“When Draymond Green is delivering, the Draymond Green Rule is merely a rule… “Nice,” Green remarked on Clutch Points’ Twitter.
“When Draymond Green is delivering, the Draymond Green Rule is merely a rule… Cool.”

Dray speaks out on Instagram about Jarrett Allen’s groin shot earlier in the Warriors vs. Cavs preseason game.

Of course, this could be a case of the pot calling the kettle black, since Draymond Green, of all people, should know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of a volley. After all, the Warriors forward is one of the league’s most renowned practitioners of “inadvertent” groin shots, with his bouts against Steven Adams and the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016 standing out as one of his most daring moments as a player. And watching Green be salty in this way must have given fans a sense of karmic justice.

How good will Jarrett Allen be?

It’s also difficult to understand Green’s rage at the NBA since the so-called Draymond Green rule is only in place because of the reputation he’s developed for himself over the years. Not only does he like to strike people in the gonads, but the Warriors forward also likes to recklessly damage his opponents in other ways. Green most recently did this when he stamped on Sacramento Kings big man Domantas Sabonis, earning him a one-game penalty in the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs.

Meanwhile, Cavs big man Jarrett Allen hasn’t had any irresponsible incidents in the past, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt that his “kick” towards the Warriors forward’s abdomen was unintentional.
